All Roles Senior HR Generalist

Position Summary:

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the daily human resources function including onboarding, training, managing data and reporting; supporting company culture and enforcing company policies and practices. Serve as a business partner to the operations and payroll.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Support the recruiting team with tasks such as contacting candidates to ask them questions and schedule interviews; greet candidates arriving for interviews, performing reference checks as needed
  • Prepare onboarding schedules and prepare and present onboarding presentations
  • Provides support to employees and managers in the handling of all human resource related activities, which may include employee relations, fielding employee questions/concerns, and/or communication and interpretation of policies and procedures
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Support the payroll function and ensure that payroll is accurate and paid timely and in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. This includes ensuring benefits and taxes are paid in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Plans and executes employee engagement activities, including recognition and employee wellness initiatives. Works closely with marketing to create communications to support the company culture.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Personal Qualifications

  • Well-organized, resourceful, and capable of managing competing priorities
  • Ability to take charge, express ownership, and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to efficiently work in a completely remote environment
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, and the ability to collaborate with other team members
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • North America hours of availability - can attend meetings during 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM CST time window

Technical Qualifications

  • 3+ years of human resource management experience preferred
  • SHRM-CP a plus
  • Experience in Notion is a plus
