All Roles Technical Producer

Position Summary:

You will be a critical part of Last Epoch's development cycle into and beyond our 1.0 release. Working directly with the Lead & Art Producers, you will help manage feature needs and work with our technology and tools teams to bring them to life. You will also directly interface with our vendors to establish clear communication about our needs and priorities.

The role will include both technical and production focuses, so technical experience is a must. You will be responsible for implementing and improving processes, tools, and methods that will help us build the features and technology that we rely on. The role will also require the ability to track the progress of the team to help us achieve our objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Producer, Directors, and Technical Leads to establish feature schedules and priorities
  • Run daily standups with your team to keep production on track
  • Support and enforce issue tracking using our existing tools
  • Lead and manage senior technology staff to foster our collaborative and flexible culture
  • Help to negotiate feature requirements from requests, bolstering the connection between the technology and feature teams
  • Work closely with our vendors to ensure prioritization and delivery of technical features
  • Identify risks and plan out mitigation strategies to help reduce the impact on content, schedule, and quality

Personal Qualifications

  • You have 4 years experience as a Producer, Associate Producer, or Project Manager role within the video game industry
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Available to work during core hours, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM Central Time
  • You relish technical challenges and complex problems
  • You have a proactive approach to helping your team solve problems

Technical Qualifications

  • Able to understand and participate in technical discussion at broad and high-levels, and able to coordinate complex technical problem solving
  • Demonstrable knowledge of game development methodology
  • Successfully delivered numerous technology initiatives
  • Ability to use pre-existing production methodology expertise to slowly integrate into our methods;
  • Proficiency in Project Management and working with Task Tracking tools
  • Working knowledge of the Agile and Sprint methodologies within technology projects
